The pickup line installation instructions are as follows:-

Step 1. Drill out the required hole in the tank.

Step 2. Using a piece of wire that is thin enough to fit through the pickup needle feed it through the hole all the way up to the spout.

Step 3. Remove the nut from the end of the needle.

Step 4. Thread the needle along the wire so it drops into the hole.

Step 5. Finish off by screwing the nut back onto the end of the needle from the outside of the bottom of the tank.
